PEGI EYERS
Canadian Ecopsychology Network (CEN)
The Canadian Ecopsychology Network (CEN) presents the Fine Points of Re-Landing (Re-Indigenization) with Pegi Eyers, the author of Ancient Spirit Rising. We cannot automatically assume that using "indigenous" or "indigeneity" is an acceptable practice for white people (such as in curriculum as offered at colleges and universities in the Americas) and other spaces. We need to be aware that the First Nations of Turtle Island have valid and prior claims to the term. CEN talks are hosted by founder Carol Koziol. Access CEN on Facebook >here<
Pegi Eyers is the author of Ancient Spirit Rising: Reclaiming Your Roots & Restoring Earth Community, an award-winning book that explores strategies for social justice, uncolonization, ethnocultural identity, building land-emergent community & resilience in times of massive change.
